Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program
Thank You for visiting the St. Thomas University School of Law Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. This portal will allow you to self-prepare your 2012 tax return and file it with the IRS for free!
You will be able to use this service if your income in 2012 was $57,000 or less. If you need any assistance in the preparation of your tax return, the VITA program has certified tax coaches ready to answer your questions. Simply send an email to taxprep@stu.edu with your inquiry.
Our assistors will be answering questions from Monday – Friday (12:00PM – 5:00 PM). Questions are answered in the order that they are received. Responses will be provided within 24 hours; however, more complex tax questions may require additional research and may take more time.
