Robert Mensel is Associate Professor of Law at St. Thomas University School of Law. He received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, after receiving a B.A. in English Literature from Wesleyan University. He also holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in U.S. History from Rutgers University. He is an elected member of the American Law Institute, and has twice been professor of the year at the law school. He writes in the field of Nineteenth Century American legal history. He teaches Legal History, Torts I and II, Conflict of Laws, and other courses.
