The St. Thomas University School of Law Alumni Association, formed after the first class graduated in 1987, plays a vital role in success and development of the School of Law. The purpose of the Law Alumni Association is to create and enhance a thriving bond between the School of Law and its graduates.

Those that graduate from the St. Thomas J.D. or LL.M. programs automatically become members of the Law Alumni Association. In partnership with the School of Law, the Law Alumni Association maintains a connection to the University, its faculty, staff, and students, and the legal community. Every department within the School of Law is available to all alumni, whether for job placement, networking, or opportunities to serve the community and the School.

The Law Alumni Council [link] serves as a link between the School of Law and the Law Alumni Association as a whole so that the relationship between the Law Alumni Association and the School of Law can flourish to its fullest extent. Law Alumni Council

The Law Alumni Council, the governing body of the Law Alumni Association, is a volunteer leadership group that works closely with the School of Law to foster relationships between the School of Law and the alumni as a whole. By assisting in the implementation of programs and events for the Law Alumni Association, the Law Alumni Council maintains the connection St. Thomas needs between itself and the legal community that contains our Alumni.
