Message from the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs
Dear Incoming Law Student,
On behalf of the entire St. Thomas University Community, I would like to welcome the incoming fall 2013 class. Congratulations on your admission to St. Thomas University School of Law! The next three years will be filled with exciting challenges and many opportunities as you learn the law.
All admitted students are assigned to one section and pre-registered for first year classes. The section is broken into smaller subsections for the Research and Writing Classes. Sometime over the course of the summer you will be sent your section designation via e-mail and regular mail.
The Orientation Webpage for the Class of 2016 provides all pertinent information on the fall 2013 semester schedule and the fall 2013 examination schedule. Please refer to the Orientation Webpage to determine your section’s schedule. Your section’s schedule will indicate when your classes meet and your final exam schedule for the fall term. Before classes begin this fall, the webpage will be updated to provide the necessary information regarding the required casebooks and your first class assignment for each of your classes.
You can purchase your books in advance if you desire from a number of sources. They are also available on the campus at the University Book Store.
I, together with Jessica Fonseca-Nader, Assistant Dean of Enrollment and Scholarships, Jiovanna Bryant, Director for Admissions and the admissions staff, look forward to seeing you at Orientation on August 14th - 16th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of Admissions at 305-623-2310 or email@example.com.
I look forward to meeting you this fall.
John F. Hernandez
