University Faculty & ESOL Methodology

Each year of Project SUCCESS, St. Thomas University faculty have developed university course syllabi incorporating ESOL methodology in subjects ranging from biology to philosophy.

The purpose of this syllabi development is to support improving teaching to students who are ELL (English language learners) and to provide models for secondary teaching. As part of the Project, St. Thomas University faculty are visiting University Schools and participating in regional ESOL workshops and conferences.

This dual commitment supports university course effectiveness for ELLs and professional development for teachers. For additional information or interaction, contact Dr. Susan Angulo at sangulo@stu.edu.
