Lead Now Summer Program Adds Musical Notes to STU!

High school students who are part of the Miniaci Lead Now Program, not only have the opportunity to earn college credits and be eligible for a scholarship, but also to meet business and civic leaders as well as expand their enrichment experiences. Program students earn six preparatory college academic credits, receive leadership training, create a professional e-portfolio and become eligible to receive annual scholarships for St. Thomas University.

This summer, for the first time, they are participating in guitar classes on campus for the first time. They will perform with their instructor, Hiroshi Niina, at the STU Awards luncheon August 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bobcat. Classes continue in the fall on Fridays.
