St. Thomas University Law School Hosted National Conference of Law Reviews

On March 12-15, 2008, St. Thomas University School of Law hosted more than 350 law review editors and board members from across the country at the National Conference of Law Reviews. This significant conference sought to educate and inform the nation’s top law students on how best to utilize their talents to serve as leaders and to make a difference in both the academic and legal communities. The four-day conference included keynote speeches by former U.S. Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales; award-winning journalist and best-selling author, Catherine Crier; entrepreneur, Charles Patrick Garcia; and former Arkansas Attorney General, Steve Clark; among others.

“St. Thomas University School of Law was honored to host this important event training today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders in law, service, and justice,” said Dean Garcia. “I wish to extend my extreme gratitude to the Law Review for hosting the National Conference of Law Reviews. Megann Denefrio, Michael Delgado, and Mickey Budlong deserve special thanks for their Herculean efforts and dedication in putting together a magnificent event. We are proud that, due to the efforts of students, faculty, administration and staff who worked toward a common goal, our law school was showcased as a premier institution of higher learning.”
