Our certificate programs are designed to meet the needs of persons interested in ministry who desire training in a particular ministry set of skills rather than a general preparation for ministry. Often ministers find themselves confronted with new challenges and need to refresh their skills. Others find themselves called to a new area of minitry that demands different skills. Some have a longing to grow and to serve that comes from their life circumstances.
We offer two kinds of certificates. Some require admission to the graduate program and result in graduate credit. Others do not require a degree for admission and consequently are much less expensive. All, however, provide deeper understanding of self and of God within a community of faith.
These courses of study require admission to the graduate School and credits earned may be used to complete a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministries.
