Ungraduate Programs
The Undergraduate Programs within the Department of Religious Studies cover the distinctive beliefs and practices, sacred literatures and cultural expressions of the great religious traditions of the world. Students explore some of the most creative expressions of the human spirit in its responses to personal and cultural concepts of a supreme deity. Special emphasis is placed on Biblical literature, as well as on contemporary expressions of religious thought in cultures.
Religious Studies majors and minors are strongly encouraged to study abroad through a faculty-led program to Spain or any other study-abroad program approved by the University.
