Biography:
Mr. Buteau is a native of Haiti. He is an active member of the Association of Practical Theology and the Center for Theology and Natural Sciences. He serves as the Director of the Ecumenical Institute at St. Thomas University.

Research and Teaching:
Mr. Buteau’s research focuses on the theology of grace as it relates to theological and cultural anthropology with particular emphasis on the Haitian context. His scholarly interests include revelation and postcolonial theory, phenomenology, epistemology, and philosophical hermeneutics.

Mr. Buteau teaches Introduction to Religious Studies.
