Adjunct Faculty – Business

Gus Machado School of Business

St. Thomas University is seeking a number of terminally qualified adjuncts that hold a Ph.D. from an AACSB accredited business school in one of the following disciplines to teach as part of our online adjunct pool:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Human Resource Management with a special focus on Labor Relations
  • Sports Administration (Degree with AACSB or COSMA accreditation accepted) 

We are also seeking professors with terminal qualifications to teach in:

  • Data Analytics or Statistics

Online instruction begins August 2018. Interested candidates should apply by sending their c.v., contact information for three (3) professional references, copy of all graduate level transcripts, and brief statement of online teaching experience and online teaching philosophy (in MS Word or Adobe PDF) to teachbusinesspt@stu.edu .  Review of applications will start in Mid-July.  Upon hire, official transcripts will be required.  Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Bobcats headed to Idaho for NAIA World Series

May 15, 2019 For the second consecutive season, third time in the past five seasons and seventh time in program history, the St. Thomas University Bobcats Baseball team is headed to compete in the Avista-NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho on May 24th – May 31st. St. Thomas earned the berth following a 7-5 win over second seed William Jessup University in the Miami Gardens Bracket Championship Game at Paul Demie Mainieri Field. Read More

STU to Launch South Florida’s First Master of Science in Medical Sciences Degree Program for Aspiring Medical Professionals

December 20, 2018 Beginning in Fall 2019, St. Thomas University (STU) will introduce South Florida’s first and only Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) degree program. STU’s MSMS will be presented in partnership with Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU) through Tiber Health Innovation and will be taught by PHSU’s medical school faculty and STU’s science faculty. St. Thomas Law wins National ABA Labor Law Trial Competition, Two Years in a Row

January 29, 2019 For the second year in a row, St. Thomas University School of Law’s trial team was crowned the 2019 ABA Labor and Employment Law National Trial Competition champions. The annual national competition was held from January 26-27 in New Orleans, La., and featured six law schools from around the country – William & Mary, UCLA, Washington University, Brooklyn Law, SMU School of Law and St. Thomas University School of Law; all champions in their own regions.
