Master of Science in Educational Leadership student, Precious Symonette receives two prestigious honors


Ms. Precious Symonette possesses a passion for writing and teaching. She is currently an educator with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and a student in the Master of Science in Educational Leadership program in St. Thomas University. Ms. Symonette was bestowed with two educator awards this year, the Star Educator Award by the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa and the Teacher of the Year at Charles R. Drew Middle School. In addition, she has been nominated for Teacher of the Year in Miami-Dade County. The Institute for Education proudly celebrates with Ms. Symonette these amazing accomplishments. Ms. Symonette is true leader in her field and an excellent role model for teachers and students. Join us in congratulating her for these prestigious honors.

The Master of Science in Educational Leadership program is housed in the School for Leadership Studies. The MS in Educational Leadership program trains principals and assistant principals to become leaders in the educational arena.
