Paul-Michael Klein worked during high school and college at mountain resorts which to hospitality management. He has held positions with Trade Wind Tours, Hilton, Jack Tar Hotels, Sheraton, and Omni. Currently he is Associate Professor, Program Director and founding faculty member of the STU Tourism/Hospitality Program.

His consulting activities internationally involve operations analysis/audit, marketing, hotel management contracts and franchising, and the planning and development of eco-tourism destinations.

His activities include: Co-founder Miami Nice, past President Florida Gold Coast HSMAI; President Cornell Alumni Greater Miami and Florida Keys; ISTTE (Board Member); 2-time National Restaurant Association Teacher Grant. Klein serves on the Advisory Board of MDCPS/NAF AOHT and was a founding advisory board member of the Camillus Help Network.
