Adjunct Faculty – Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling

St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL, is seeking applications from qualified individuals to teach in our on-ground Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Degree Program. The candidate must present documented evidence of teaching excellence at the graduate level, familiarity with relational, systemic and life cycle theory and treatment literature, Florida 491 licensure requirements, the appreciation of social justice and diversity issues, and ability to work with diverse populations.

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Marriage & Family Therapy or a related discipline; a Florida License in Marriage and Family Therapy, FL 491 Board-approved supervisor certification. Experience teaching courses including, but not limited to, Marriage & Family Internship, Family Therapy and Evaluation, Couples Counseling Lifecycle Issues in Family Therapy, Community Consultation, Substance Abuse in the Family, Interviewing, and Group Psychotherapy is preferred.
