Adjunct Faculty – School Counseling

St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL, is seeking applications from qualified individuals to teach in our on-ground School Counseling Master’s Degree program. The candidate must present documented evidence of at least 5 years teaching at the graduate level, FL certification in School Counseling (K-12), familiarity with the ASCA Model as well as with trauma informed and brain-based education/counseling, the appreciation of social justice and diversity issues, and ability to work with diverse populations.

Minimum qualifications: PhD in Counselor Education or School Counseling. Experience teaching courses including, but not limited to, Multicultural Counseling, Group Counseling, Assessment & Testing, Vocational Principles of Guidance Counseling, and Development of School Guidance Programs is preferred.
