About me: Hello and thank you for your interest in St. Thomas University. I am a proud Miami native and I work closely with those college students interested in transferring to St. Thomas University. I hold a Bachelor and Master of Arts in History from Florida International University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Miami. I am passionate about higher education and in helping students reach their academic and career goals. As a first-generation college student, I understand how challenging the college selection process can be. Here at St. Thomas University, our small learning environment allows us to provide you with the individualize attention that you need. I look forward to meeting you.
About me: Hello and welcome from Whitney Battoe! I am originally from Naperville, Illinois, and a proud St. Thomas University alum with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I was a four-year student-athlete serving as Captain of St. Thomas’s volleyball program all four years (2014-2018). During which I earned many accolades both academically and athletically, i.e. graduated Cum Laude, 3X NAIA Scholar Athlete, 3X Academic All-Conference Team, The Sun Conference (TSC), 3X First-Team All-Conference (TSC), 2X Player of the Year (TSC), and 3X NAIA All-American. My favorite aspect of St. Thomas University is its people; since it is a smaller university, everyone takes time to get to know you making the university truly feel like a second home. The family-like atmosphere encouraged me to grow academically and athletically as a student, and the university continues to help me grow professionally as an Admissions Counselor. St. Thomas University is true to its mission developing ethical and confident Leaders for Life.

About me: I am originally from El Salvador and graduated from St. Thomas University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. I was originally part of the Office of Admissions since 2014 as a Student Ambassador and the passion for education and love for my Alma Mater is what brought me back as an Admissions Counselor in 2018. I am also bilingual in Spanish and English, which expands my ability to help most students. My favorite part about St Thomas University is the personalized attention students get, not only in the classroom but also across campus. I invite you to visit us and experience firsthand what a tightly connected community we are at St. Thomas University.
About me: Hello and welcome! My name is Alliyah Sands. I am originally from Clayton, North Carolina and came to St. Thomas University in 2016 as a transfer student from King University (TN). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Economics in May 2019. I’ve had the pleasure of being a student-athlete (softball) and engaged in various clubs/organizations that St. Thomas had to offer. I was a Resident Assistant, President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, a member of the Dining Improvement Committee, an officer for the Economics Club, and a work-study. St. Thomas gave me the opportunity to participate in our student-run sports network, orchestrate and host a Mental Health panel, and travel to places like Las Vegas, California, Orlando, and many more for various events. Our family and culturally enriched environment is unmatched across the nation. We have one main goal here at St. Thomas University, and that is to produce ethical, culturally-enriched leaders for life. I look forward to showing why STU is for YOU.
About me: Hello! My name is Bryan Schmidt and I’m originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and played four years of football at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. Currently, I’m getting my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Administration here at St. Thomas University. Outside of work I enjoy sports, going camping, the beach, traveling, and hanging out with my friends. The reason I love being a part of the STU family is because of how welcoming, inspiring, and knowledgeable the faculty and staff are. There are genuine people here that care about the higher education of their students and go above and beyond to prove that. The STU family is here to inspire and give you the proper resources needed to find your place in the world, meaning of life, and pursuit of happiness. I look forward to helping you all I can!

About me: Hello! My name is Jamie and I am from Columbia, South Carolina! I earned my Bachelors of Business Administration in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University and my Masters of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Lynn University. It was an honor to be involved in various clubs throughout the university as well as the Team Captain for our tennis team! The small community is what led me to become a part of the Bobcat family (and the year round perfect weather)! If you are looking for an institution that truly embodies their mission statement, this is the perfect school for you! The true commitment to student leadership and creating leaders for life shows from the moment that you step onto campus!
