I hold a Bachelor and Master of Arts in History from Florida International University and a Doctor of Education from the University of Miami. I am passionate about higher education and in helping students reach their academic and career goals. About me: Hello and welcome from Whitney Battoe! I am originally from Naperville, Illinois, and a proud St. Thomas University alum with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I was a four-year student-athlete serving as Captain of St. Thomas’s volleyball program all four years (2014-2018). During which I earned many accolades both academically and athletically, i.e. graduated Cum Laude, 3X NAIA Scholar Athlete, 3X Academic All-Conference Team, The Sun Conference (TSC), 3X First-Team All-Conference (TSC), 2X Player of the Year (TSC), and 3X NAIA All-American. My favorite aspect of St. Thomas University is its people; since it is a smaller university, everyone takes time to get to know you making the university truly feel like a second home. The family-like atmosphere encouraged me to grow academically and athletically as a student, and the university continues to help me grow professionally as an Admissions Counselor. St. Thomas University is true to its mission developing ethical and confident Leaders for Life.

About me: Hello! My name is Zane Mass and I am from Annapolis, Maryland. Previously, I attended The Community College of Baltimore County Essex (CCBC) to pursue an AA in Business. While attending CCBC, I was fortunate to be Team Captain of the CCBC lacrosse team. Under my leadership, we received the NJCAA 2nd team All-American award, NJCAA 1st team All-Defense award, and became the first CCBC team to enter into the NJCAA Lacrosse Finals in 10 years. After only a short time at St. Thomas University, I can truly say that it is unlike any other place. It is close-knit family, where faculty and staff go over and beyond to make it an exceptional college experience for all students. My favorite part of being member of the St. Thomas family is its commitment to empower students by providing them the tools needed to succeed, not to mention our beautiful campus in sunny Miami.

I love watching several sports, including Basketball, Football, Tennis, Soccer, and more! While I had a couple of other job offers when I was graduating, ultimately my love for STU, my desire to see it grow and improve, and my connection to not only the school, but the people in it, are the primary reasons I decided to stay in this new professional capacity. I hope to be able to help YOU find a new home here at St. Thomas University in beautiful Miami, Florida.
