Loan Application Process
To receive any Federal Loans, you must complete the Loan Application Process which consists of two through three requirements depending on the loan that you wish to apply for.
You can complete these requirements via www.studentloans.gov using your FSA ID and Password. These requirements are necessary to be awarded the Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan and the Graduate PLUS Loan.
Note: The Graduate PLUS Loan is a secondary option that is available to students should you need additional funding after receiving the Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan.
To meet the requirements for the Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan, this requirement is for both Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Students:
- Entrance Counseling
- Loan Agreement for a Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan (MPN)
To meet the requirements for the Graduate PLUS, you must complete the following in the Graduate/Professional Students tab:
- Entrance Counseling
- Loan Agreement for a Graduate PLUS Loan (MPN)
- Credit Check
