Dr. Jason Karp, is Doctoral Dissertation Chair and Associate Professor in the School of Arts and Education at St. Thomas University (STU), Miami Gardens, Florida. He has been teaching higher education for 19 years and has been involved in many different areas of education during that time. Dr. Karp earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University; Master of Science in Computer Science Education from Nova Southeastern University; 18 hours of a Master of Science in School Leadership from Florida Atlantic University; and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Technology from Nova Southeastern University. He has served as a Dissertation Chair, Teacher, Assistant Principal, Associate Professor, and CEO. Dr. Karp has been teaching for many years and enjoys helping others achieve their goals. He has many years’ experience developing courses, chairing dissertations, writing curriculum and reports, writing policy, and working with community leaders. He has numerous papers and presentations on the topic of leadership, professional development, technology, net generation and 21st century learners.
