Center for Ethics
The Center for Ethics was established in 2000 through a generous gift from the Joseph and Marilyn Sciortino Family Foundation. In early 2013, the Center was restructured and given greater prominence university-wide when the Center was placed under the direction of the University Provost. With the support of the Schools of Business and Law and the Department of Philosophy, the Ethics Center is better-positioned and has resources to promote the application of high ethical standards in business and government. With the focus grounded in applied ethics, the Center teaches, trains and offers technical assistance to public and private officials and decision-makers.
