Master of Arts in Criminal Justice

The Master of Art in Criminal Justice (MACJ), in Biscayne College, is designed to broaden the perspective of those already employed as criminal justice professionals as well as to provide the academic knowledge and practical skills for those seeking to advance into higher level career positions within the criminal justice system.

The thirty-six credit fully accredited program is suitable for students with undergraduate degrees not only in criminal justice but in such related fields as sociology, psychology, criminology and political science. The MACJ is conveniently scheduled to allow highly motivated students to complete the degree within just one year.

August 3, 2018 The humanitarian crisis caused by the separation of migrant children from their asylum-seeking parents has had an effect on everyone that has heard the heartbreaking stories.The St. Thomas Law family answered the call, sprung into action and headed to Texas to lend their much-needed expertise to assist detained and separated families. STU to Launch Football and Marching Band Programs in Fall 2019

August 29, 2018 History was made at St. Thomas University (STU) as the school is launching a football team and marching band for the first time ever. South Florida’s newest football team, the St. Thomas Bobcats, will begin practice in Spring 2019, while building the capacity to play a full season beginning in Fall 2019. The Innovation Award is Ashoka U’s top honor for premiere higher education programs in social innovation education. It recognizes high impact and highly replicable education innovations, including pioneering teaching models, co-curricular programming, community partnerships, and research.
