2019 Events
Saturday, February 2, 2019, Professor Andrej Milic and Dr. George Antoniou took STU’s Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda competition team to Broward College to compete in the District V Leadership Conference. The team earned seventeen certificates by placing in the top three of a number of criminal justice, cyber security, business and professional categories.
A highlight of the competition was the cyber security team sweeping their category. Two students won first place in several categories: Louis Alvarez in Computer Applications and Computer Concepts, and Mathias Castineiros in Cyber Security and Sports Management & Marketing. The team is now preparing for the state leadership conference competition that will occur later this Spring semester.
Activities
SFISSA’s October meeting will be on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 at Florida International University, Miami. The meeting will take place in the Graham Center from 6PM to 9:30PM, followed by their usual networking hour.
