The Outstanding Young Alumnus/Alumna Award
Granted to an individual who has graduated in the past seven years, and who has shown a commitment to professionalism, ethics, and service to the
School of Law.


The Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award
Granted to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional skills in the practice of law, has shown a lifelong commitment to professionalism and ethics, and has proven him or herself as a leader in the legal arena.


The Arête Award
(Greek: virtue, excellence, reaching one’s highest potential)
Granted to a graduate who embodies these traits through excellence in his or field, and dedication to public service, social justice, and citizenship.


The Outstanding Jurist Award
Given to a member of the judiciary who has made a significant impact through his or her dedication to justice, ethics and the law.


The Dean’s Award of Distinction
Granted to an individual who is not a St. Thomas University School of Law graduate, or to a firm, corporation or group with a demonstrated commitment to ethics and professionalism, and to advancing the profession of law or serving the community.
