Introduction to Legal Studies Programs

Introduction to Legal Studies is a two-week, non-credit program offered to all admitted students. The program offers an introduction to the study of law that will allow you to gain a head start on acquiring skills essential to succeed in law school.

Introduction to Legal Studies-Required

Students admitted to ILS Required are guaranteed a seat in the Fall class upon completion of our Legal Studies Program. Participation in ILS offers students an opportunity to earn scholarship monies.

Program Fee:

The cost for the program is a $500.00 non-refundable fee. The entire amount of your non-refundable fee will be applied to your tuition.

Introduction to Legal Studies-Optional

Introduction to Legal Studies is open to applicants who are directly admitted. Participation in this program offers students an opportunity to experience law school and earn scholarship monies.

Scholarship Opportunity:

Students who are in the top 5% of the class at the end of the program will earn a one-time $5,000.00 scholarship award. Students in the top 20% at the end of the program will earn a one-time $2,000.00 scholarship award.

2018 Program Dates

The program begins July 20, 2018 and ends on August 4, 2018.

Academic Content

The purpose of this program is to expose students to a new way of learning. We will provide you all the materials for the course. You will receive the materials for the first week of class via e-mail. Additional materials will be provided during the program.
