Admission and Application Requirements

Enrollment for the LL.M. program is open to holders of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or similar foreign qualifications in the field of law. Admission may also be granted to holders of a bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent, who have a desire to develop an understanding of legal principles as it applies to their cybersecurity careers or related fields of expertise. Students may apply for full time or part-time status.

*Further information about the application process will be available in late February. Applicants will be able to apply for admission on a rolling basis. However, in order to enhance admissions’ chances, we encourage prospective students to apply as early as possible. The tuition will be $30,264.00 for 26 credits at $1,164.00 per credit.

The LL.M. program was launched in January 2019 to bring together the strengths of the School of Law and University. The LL.M. program will launch its first class in the fall of 2019 in association with the Cyber & Information Security Programs of the Gus Machado School of Business. The LL.M. program aims at broadening students’ understanding of cybersecurity law, while offering specialized knowledge and skills. The fully online program offers the opportunity to graduate in as few as 10 months, while acquiring valuable knowledge.
