Professor Blanco received his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law and his LL.M. (in Taxation) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, United States Southern District Court of Florida, and the United States Tax Court.

Professor Blanco predominantly serves as a wealth and business adviser to healthcare professionals and international high net worth individuals advising on matters of international wealth and tax planning, state and federal legal compliance, and operations management. Professor Blanco also serves as "Of Counsel" to Zurich-based Vanderbrook & Co, providing wealth planning solutions for international institutions and its U.S. clients. He advises in the areas of Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act ("FATCA"), OECD's Common Reporting Standards ("CRS"), private placement insurance solutions, forensic and trust accounting, foreign trust compliance services, and compliance offerings for registered investment advisers.
