After receiving his J.D. from Harvard Law School, Professor Klein served in Venezuela under a State Department scholarship. He then practiced law in Venezuela before entering the field of publishing and editing textbooks. Professor Klein has written two books: "The Venezuelan Constitution" and a history of Venezuela for educators. On returning to the United States, he received two LL.M. degrees. His current interests are in the areas of human rights and national security.
