Judge Levine previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, where he was Chief of the Economic Crimes Division, as well as the Organized Crime and Official Corruption Unit. He also served as the Director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and as General Counsel to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. Judge Levine was appointed to the Fourth District Court of Appeal in 2009. His professional activities include service as Chair of the Education Committee for the Florida Conference of District Court of Appeal Judges and as Chair of the Florida Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee. Judge Levine has also served on the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions for Criminal Cases, as well as Business and Contract Cases. He has served on the faculty of the Florida College of Advanced Judicial Studies, the Gerald T. Bennet Prosecutor/Public Defender Trial Training Program, and Florida New Appellate Judges Program. Judge Levine was given the “Outstanding Jurist Award” by the Craig S. Barnard American Inn of Court for 2014-15.
