e-Book collections

You can find, download, and read e-Books via the library's catalog or directly through the collection database.

e-Books from EBSCOhost

EBSCO e-Books can be read and downloaded from anywhere, across multiple devices (including tablets, iPads, and smartphones, as well as computers).

To search the e-book collection, click on the following link: e-Book collection.

Note: You will have to log-in using your STU username and password if you are off-campus.

To download an EBSCO e-book, you will have to create a free EBSCOhost account in addition to logging in with your STU username and password, and you will need to download and install Adobe Digital Editions (it's free) and an ebook app, such as BlueFire reader or similar, to read the ebook on a device.

e-Books from EBL (ProQuest)

E-books from EBL can also be read and downloaded from anywhere and on multiple devices. Many of the books available through EBL are available with audio options. You can also save books to your own personal collections to read later.

To search the EBL e-book collection, click the following link: EBL e-book collection.

Note: You will be required to log-in with your STU username and password to access the collection.

To download an EBL e-book, you will be prompted to download and install Adobe Digital Editions (it's free) or an ebook app, such as BlueFire reader or similar to read it on a tablet or smartphone.
