Catholic Identity

The word “Catholic” means universal. At St. Thomas University we welcome people from all religious and humanistic traditions. Our students are offered a wide variety of opportunities to develop an appreciation of their personal worth, individual gifts and academic potential. Service programs, social organizations, campus ministry, and academic clubs all endeavor to assist in the development of students knowledgeable of self, rooted in faith, educated in mind, and compassionate in heart.

Through collaborative development projects, St. Thomas University students are engaged in immersive service programs throughout Florida, and in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. Students have opportunities to go beyond classroom learning, and apply their newfound knowledge in ways that can positively transform the world.
