Dr. J. Troy Robinson has been an educator for over 35 years. He first taught third grade in his home state of Missouri and moved to Florida in 1979. He taught computer classes for the adult education program and taught many professional development classes for teachers on the integration of technology in teaching and learning. He served as classroom teacher, assistant principal, and reading specialist in the Florida counties of Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Broward. He was recognized as the 1995 Florida Instructional Technology Leader and was 1992 Hillsborough Teacher of the Year Finalist.
At the university level, Dr. Robinson has taught Many face-to-face and online classes at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels in the areas of educational leadership, organizational leadership, reading, and technology. He has served as both chair and member/reader for numerous doctoral dissertations for several universities. Dr. Robinson continues his interest in research and best practices in Multiple Intelligences, Cooperative Learning, Professional Learning Communities, Technology Integration, Educational Leadership, Organizational Leadership, and quality online graduate education through membership in Phi Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi, International Reading Association, and International Society for Technology in Education.
