Master of Science in Educational Leadership

Program Description: The Master of Science in Educational Leadership consists of coursework and experiences designed to develop entry-level competencies for instructional leaders. The program provides an alternative pathway to develop entry-level competencies for educational professionals.  

 

Upon completion of the Master of Science degree program in Education, all students who wish to pursue Teacher Certification in the State of Florida must meet the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) specific requirements including, but not limited to, applying to the FLDOE for a "Letter of Eligibility" and passing all portions of the Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCE).

 

It is the responsibility of all students, especially those from other states, who wish to seek teacher state certification from their home states to contact the appropriate department within the DOE (Department of Education) of their home state to determine their eligibility before enrolling in those Masters of Science degree programs in Education.
