New Student Orientation (Bobcat Onboard)
Once you officially confirm your enrollment and become a Bobcat, you’ll be able to register for a mandatory on-campus Bobcat Onboard orientation session! New student orientation is an important part of becoming an STU student and will make sure you are ready to start classes. During Bobcat Onboard, you’ll receive your class schedule, meet with financial aid and academic advisors, get your student ID and parking pass, and meet fellow future Bobcats!

- Saturday, June 15
- Monday, June 17 (Football recruits only)
- Friday, July 12
- Monday, July 15
- Thursday, August 1
- Friday, August 2
- Monday, August 5
- Friday, August 16 (International and out-of-state students only)
To register for Bobcat Onboard and complete other important new student checklist items, please log in to your Admissions Portal. All registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to confirm your enrollment and register for Bobcat Onboard as soon as possible to make sure you can attend your ideal date.
Fall 2024 Important Dates
- Wednesday, May 1 – Decision Day priority deadline
- Friday, July 12 – Payment plan first due date
- Friday, August 9 – Insurance waiver deadline
- Monday, August 12 – Fall bill due date
- Thursday, August 15 – New student move-in day
- Monday, August 19 – First day of classes
