Career Services

Career Services cultivates relationships with employers and community partners to develop experiential learning and employment opportunities for students and alumni. These offerings can be full-time, part-time or experiential learning such as professional interviews, job shadowing and internships. We combine personalized one-on-one career advising that includes assessments to ensure major or career interest, resume’ and interview material review along with mock interviews, Career Closet visits, as well as social media presence and development. We are excited to offer all phases of Career Counseling using a variety of tools and best practices.

Scheduling an Appointment:

If you are a student, you may schedule an appointment by stopping by our office (Dooner Hall Room #107) or email our Director, April Kennedy, at aprilkennedy@stu.edu. We offer a personalized touch to guide you on your career path.

Alumni, services are available to you for life. If you are thinking of switching careers or would like to prepare for a higher-level position in your organization, we are here to help you design your job search strategy and ultimately land that position.
