NEW UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

We welcome you to St. Thomas University where as our student; you will become a part of an internationally diverse community committed to developing Leaders for Life. At STU you will develop skills that will translate to the real world. Here you will be taught in a small class setting that will let you shape your education to fit your life goals. A St. Thomas University graduate will become a successful leader in your professional community with values that are strengthened by our strong and ethical Catholic heritage.

As a newly admitted student you will be required to attend or participate in a new student orientation program. We have designed several orientation programs that will provide you with all the necessary information as you transition to St. Thomas University.

We have 1 Orientation program for Summer 2018 and 5 Orientation programs for Fall 2018 start planned, they are as follows:

Registration Steps

  1. Go to www.stu.edu.
  2. Click on MyBobcat from the top gray bar.
  3. Log in with user name and password. If you do not know your login information or have any issues logging in, please contact the Student Success Center at 305-474-6900
  4. Click on the Students tab.
  5. Click on the Registration tab. You can search for any registration holds prior to registering under the Registration Holds tab.
  6. Click on the Register and Drop Sections and click OK.
  7. You will be prompted to several screens with disclaimers. You must read and acknowledge and once done please click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
  8. Next the registration page will show. If you know the courses and sections that you want click the Express Registration. If you need to search for courses please click the Search and Register for Sections tab. You can also search for courses under the Search for Sections tab.
  9. Once you have completed your registration, you may print your registration statement/class schedule by clicking the Registration Statement tab. Select a term or enter the date range click submit. Right click and print.
NON-DEGREE SEEKING STUDENTS

Welcome to St. Thomas University! We are excited that you have chosen to take advantage of our course offerings while attending other universities. We hope that you will have an enjoyable and rewarding experience here. STU’s non-degree seeking students typically fall under one of the following categories:

  1. Students seeking to complete pre-requisites for another program at another university.
  2. Students seeking to take some courses at STU for professional/personal development but not obtain a Bachelor and/or Master degree.
  3. Students returning to South Florida wishing to continue with their degree objectives.
  4. Teachers wishing to take courses for certification purposes.

Easy Registration Steps

  1. Go to www.stu.edu

    a) If you do not have your Username and Password/Pin or need to reset please go to https://go.stu.edu/Reset-Password

Payments
Current Cost of Tuition can be found by clicking here. Financial Aid is not available for non-degree seeking students.

Registration
Students planning on enrolling for a course that requires pre-requisites that were completed outside of STU must contact the Student Success Center for approval. Click here to go to Student Success Center’s web page.

Students may choose to take Non-Degree courses during one semester or in multiple semesters. Non-degree seeking undergraduate students are limited to 15 credits hours and graduate students are limited to 12 credits hours.

Affiliation
Student who exceed the credit limit for non-degree seeking must be affiliated to a college or school in order to continue taking a course. Below are application forms for STU degrees.
