St. Thomas University Experience

The St. Thomas University Week of Welcome (W.O.W.)

The St. Thomas University Week of Welcome is hosted by the Department of Student Affairs. The goal is to provide students and parents the foundation for a holistic approach on transitioning to college life from high school or from another college or university to STU. New and transfer students along with their parents will attend this event for information about academic programs, social and personal growth, health and wellness, intramurals, and university resources. Administrators, faculty, staff and students are brought together to demonstrate how the St. Thomas family begins the process of developing “Leaders for Life.”

The Week of Welcome offers you the opportunity to:

  • Meet the Class of 2022
  • Meet key administrators and faculty and staff
  • Meet the Student Government Association (SGA) & student leaders
  • Learn how to become a leader for life through student leadership and involvement
