Program Highlight:
Three + Three – B.A. + J.D. Program

The Three + Three Program offers students an opportunity to earn a combined Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctor Degree. The Accelerated Law Program allows students to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree in six years instead of the traditional seven years.

Amanda Fiestas (3L) and Brittany Harris (2L) successfully prevailed on a motion to administratively close removal proceedings for a client living with severe Type II diabetes, ensuring continued access to critical medical care and stability. This outcome also honors the service and sacrifice of the client’s son, who has enlisted in the United States Marines.

In addition, the Immigration Clinic represented and successfully secured Deferred Action for another client with serious health conditions who requires ongoing medical treatment several times a week. This result ensures he can continue receiving life-sustaining medical care in the United States. The client had a history of traffic-related issues, which complicated the document collection process, particularly given his limited ability to gather records due to frequent medical appointments.

Cases like these underscore the human impact of advocacy—where access to care is not just important, but essential.

Committed to service beyond the classroom.

At last night’s Pro Bono Awards Ceremony, our STU Law Class of 2026 students were recognized for their continued impact through pro bono work, providing meaningful support to the community while gaining hands-on legal experience. Together, they have completed more than 20,000 hours of pro bono service.

We are proud of our students’ commitment and impact.

We also extend our appreciation to Marlon Hill, Esq. for serving as our keynote speaker.
