Food Law Society

The Food Law Society (FoodSoc) is founded for the purpose of encouraging discourse and intervention in the legal community, with a motivation to improve the food system. Food Law intersects with various legal practices, including: administrative, agricultural, corporate, health, environmental, labor, and anti-trust law. Our purpose is to educate the community on what issues are impacting our food quality and ways we can legally intervene to have a strong food system that serves the people.

With a desire to improve our food system, FoodSoc raises law student voices in the national conversation about our food system. It serves as a center to exchange ideas, knowledge, and practical skills, while enduring connections among students and professionals to support the next generation of food law and policy advocates.
