The St. Thomas University Fashion, Food, and Wine Showcase is a signature annual event that brings together fashion, food, wine and community through an immersive, high-impact experience rooted in education, creativity, and purpose. Hosted at the Gus Machado College of Business in Miami Gardens, this limited-capacity evening celebrates the power of experiential learning while elevating the next generation of ethical, industry-ready leaders.
Now in its 5th year, the Fashion, Food, and Wine Showcase has become a cornerstone of St. Thomas University’s mission as a Hispanic-Serving and Minority-Serving Institution, empowering diverse students through real-world industry engagement. The 2025 showcase welcomed more than 700 guests and reflected more than 1,000 hours of student-led work—resulting industry mentorship and new career pathways.
The 2026 theme, Genesis: Every Creation Has a Beginning, highlights the origin stories of ideas, careers, and collaborations. Guests will experience a dynamic runway presentation, an elevated culinary “Food Village,” interactive brand activations, and curated spaces that blend fashion, hospitality, and storytelling. The evening brings together fashion, food, and wine influencers, corporate sponsors, chefs, business leaders, and prominent community members in a setting designed to inspire connection and impact.
Proceeds from the event directly support student experiential learning, including global education opportunities, study abroad programs, professional conferences, and hands-on industry experiences—ensuring students graduate prepared to lead with creativity, integrity, and global perspective.
