Cristian A. Rodriguez

Cristian A. Rodriguez is an intellectual property attorney and the founder of Rotek Law, a Miami based law firm focused on patent and trademark protection for innovators, startups, and growing businesses. He represents clients across a wide range of industries, including software, artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and mechanical devices.

Cristian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law. He is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice law in Florida. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and regularly practices before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Before founding Rotek Law, Cristian worked in litigation and appellate practice and served at Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. He now focuses his practice on helping inventors and companies protect their intellectual property through patents, trademarks, and strategic IP counseling.

Cristian serves as an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University College of Law, where he teaches courses on intellectual property, including Innovations and Patent Management, Trademark and Branding Law, and Intellectual Property Overview.
