Donald “Don” N. Francey is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain, Logistics Management & International Trade at the Gus Machado College of Business. He brings more than 30 years of senior‑level global experience in shipping, logistics, and container transport, including a distinguished career at A.P. Moller‑Maersk, where he served as Senior Vice President for the Florida Region, Global Accounts, and Sealand Americas. He led major mergers and acquisitions, integrated carriers such as P&O Nedlloyd and Hamburg Süd, and guided Sealand Americas to over $1 billion in revenue while expanding its Latin American footprint.

Earlier, Professor Francey was Vice President for Latin America & the Caribbean at NYK Line, where he launched the company’s first regional office and drove significant revenue growth. He began his career with Coordinated Caribbean Transport and now serves as Partner and Senior Vice President at Quality Container Transport. A two‑time honoree among Florida’s Top 101 Global Leaders, he also serves on several industry boards.
