Konar Smith serves as an Instructor in the Bachelor of Science in Health Science program at St. Thomas University, where his primary responsibility is teaching undergraduate courses in health sciences and human performance. He is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction, mentoring students, and preparing future healthcare professionals through evidence-based education and experiential learning.
In addition to his primary teaching appointment, Mr. Smith serves in administrative roles as Co-Program Director of the B.S. in Health Science program and Human Performance Laboratory Coordinator.
Mr. Smith holds a Master of Athletic Training and is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His professional interests include health science, exercise prescription, injury/comorbidity prevention, strength and conditioning, and preparing students for successful careers and graduate education in allied health, sports medicine, and human performance.
