Allari Dominguez is an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Florida and is Board Certified in Criminal Trial Law by The Florida Bar. She earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Board and Intercultural Human Rights Law Review.

Before joining the Federal Public Defender’s Office, Professor Dominguez served as a Deputy Manager and Assistant Regional Counsel with the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel and as an Assistant Public Defender with the Broward Public Defender’s Office. Over the course of her career, she has represented clients at all stages of criminal proceedings and has conducted approximately 100 felony jury trials, including capital litigation.

Her current practice focuses on federal criminal defense and includes complex legal research and writing, constitutional and evidentiary issues, sentencing advocacy, and appellate briefing.

Professor Dominguez also has extensive experience training attorneys and mentoring law students in legal research and writing, federal criminal practice, client representation, and courtroom advocacy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Barry University and is fluent in Spanish.
