Fallon B. Zirpoli

Professor Fallon Zirpoli is an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing. Prior to joining us, she practiced exclusively in the area of criminal law and developed a reputation as a compassionate yet fierce trial attorney. After earning her undergraduate degree from Florida State University, she returned to South Florida to attend Nova Southeastern University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor as a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient.

During law school, she served as an editor for the Nova Law Review and worked as a certified legal intern in the Children and Families Law Clinic, assisting economically disadvantaged individuals. Following graduation, she began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office. There, she gained extensive litigation and trial experience—bringing the same drive for justice and grit to her private practice.

Professor Zirpoli has handled a wide range of criminal matters, including but not limited to white collar federal offenses, homicides, drug offenses, sex crimes, fraud, robberies, DUIs, and juvenile crimes pending direct file to the adult system. She also served a three-year appointment to The Florida Bar Juvenile Rules Committee’s delinquency subcommittee.

She is admitted to practice in Florida, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
