Leticia Mora

Leticia Mora is the Assistant Clinical Professor and Director of the Appellate Litigation Clinic at St. Thomas University College of Law. Before joining the faculty, Leticia Mora focused her practice on complex commercial disputes at both trial and on appeal in the federal and state court systems. She has experience handling commercial litigations and arbitrations involving breach of contract, fraud, and shareholder and intercreditor disputes, among other matters.

Additionally, Leticia was an Assistant Public Defender at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, where she served as first chair in numerous trials. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Leticia also obtained her LL.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center, where she graduated with distinction and interned for the U.N. Extraordinary Chambers in the Court of Cambodia and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. Her areas of interest include criminal law, international law, and appeals.
