Maegan Zamora
Maegan Zamora is an adjunct professor at St. Thomas University College of Law and a practicing civil litigation attorney with the Law Offices of Armando G. Hernandez. Her legal practice spans a broad range of matters including personal injury, insurance litigation, and commercial disputes.
A proud alumna of STU Law, Professor Zamora earned her Juris Doctor in 2024, and her Bachelors of Science in Criminology from Florida State University in 2019. During her time as a law student, she revitalized the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF) student chapter, serving as the reinstating president. Under her leadership, the chapter was named National Chapter of the Year in 2023, triumphing over nearly 200 chapters across the country—a testament to her commitment, vision, and leadership.
Professor Zamora’s passion for animal advocacy continues to fuel her personal and professional mission. She remains an active voice for animal welfare in the legal community and brings that same passion to the classroom. She currently serves as the faculty advisor to the ALDF student chapter at STU College of Law.
Dedicated to mentoring, coaching, and inspiring the next generation of legal professionals, Professor Zamora takes pride in guiding students through the rigors of law school. Her goal is to equip aspiring attorneys with both the legal tools and the personal resilience needed to succeed in practice and beyond.
