Nadine Gedeon
Mrs. Nadine Gedeon, is a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She commenced her legal journey by earning her first law degree from Université Quisqueya in Haiti. Following this, she dedicated six years to the Haitian Red Cross, where she not only contributed her legal expertise but also developed essential leadership and managerial skills. Her role evolved from a legal officer to a dynamic professional with a wealth of experience.
Mrs. Gedeon pursued a Master’s degree in Intercultural Human Rights from St. Thomas University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in May 2012. Subsequently, she achieved her Juris Doctor degree from the same institution, graduating magna cum laude in May 2014.
Currently serving as one of the partners at Gedeon & Morales Law Group, a boutique law firm dedicated to serving the Spanish and Caribbean communities since February 2017, Mrs. Gedeon has played a crucial role in its success. Her commitment to providing legal solutions tailored to the needs of diverse communities has been instrumental in the firm’s positive impact.
Mrs. Gedeon is not only a legal professional but also a leader within the legal community. She has been actively involved with the Haitian Lawyers Association, where she served in various roles, including Immediate Past President, director, vice-president, presidentelect, and President. Her contributions to the legal field have been further recognized through her fellowship in The Wm. Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy. Ms. Gedeon dedicates her time to philanthropy by volunteering with non-profit organizations. She provides pro bono legal services to women who are victims of domestic violence and offers advice to immigrant detainees, representing them in Immigration Court Proceedings through her involvement with American for Immigrant Justice and the Haitian Lawyers Association. She is also involved with the Miami-Dade Put Something Back program and Legal Services of Greater Miami Eviction Program, providing pro bono services in probate, family law and tenant eviction cases.
With a strong foundation in law, a commitment to community service, and a track record of leadership, Mrs. Gedeon continues to make significant contributions to both the legal profession and the communities she serves.
