Tamar N. Hamilton is an attorney, Special Magistrate, Adjunct Law Professor, and community leader with more than twelve years of litigation experience and a longstanding commitment to public service. A Broward County resident for more than 25 years, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofit organizations navigate complex legal matters with professionalism, fairness, and integrity.

As the founder of the Law Office of Tamar N. Hamilton, P.A., she practices in the areas of real estate law, estate planning, probate, business law, title and closing services, foreclosure litigation, and civil litigation. Her practice focuses on providing practical legal solutions while educating clients so they can make informed decisions about protecting their families, businesses, and financial futures.

In addition to her private practice, Ms. Hamilton serves as a Special Magistrate, where she presides over quasi-judicial proceedings and issues legal recommendations. She has also served as an Adjunct Law Professor at St. Thomas University College of Law, teaching courses including Mortgage Foreclosure, Real Estate Transactions, Law Office Management, and Legal Research and Writing.

A graduate of St. Thomas University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor with Honors, Ms. Hamilton also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Communications from Florida Atlantic University. She is a former President of the Jamaican American Bar Association and remains actively involved in civic, educational, and community organizations throughout South Florida.
