Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is available to St. Thomas University faculty, staff, and students who need to borrow materials not held by our library through Tipasa.

Once your request is received, we will contact another library to obtain the item(s). You will receive an email notification when your materials arrive—please check your Clutter or Junk folder if you do not see it.

Print materials can be picked up at the Circulation Desk, while electronic resources are accessed through the OCLC Article Exchange on Tipasa. When electronic materials are ready, you’ll get an email with a secure link and password. These files are available for 30 days and can be accessed up to 5 times.

The process typically takes 10 to 14 days and is free of charge, unless the materials are returned past their due date.

Photocopies of articles do not need to be returned. Books must be returned to the Circulation Desk by the due date indicated on the cover band—please do not remove the band.
