Simply put… Annual Giving is how the Bobcat community comes together to create opportunities for today’s STUdents and ensure the future of St. Thomas University.
Every student who steps onto the campus of St. Thomas University begins a journey filled with promise, purpose, and possibility. Annual Giving connects alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends to that journey, creating opportunities that help students thrive while strengthening the future of our University.
Through the generosity of our community, Annual Giving provides year-round support for scholarships, student success initiatives, academic excellence, faith formation, and the University’s greatest areas of need.
More importantly, it fosters a culture of philanthropy by bringing together people who believe in the transformative power of education and are committed to creating opportunities for future generations of Bobcats to pursue excellence.

Give Miami Day and Giving STUesday
One Day. One Community. Endless Impact
Giving STUesday is our annual day of giving that unites the entire Bobcat community in support of students and the mission of St. Thomas University. Together, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, students, and friends demonstrate the power of collective generosity to create life-changing opportunities.
The Crosses for the Classroom initiative invites donors to place a cross in classrooms across campus, serving as a visible reminder of our Catholic identity and commitment to integrating faith into learning. Each sponsored cross becomes a lasting expression of faith and generosity, reinforcing the University’s mission for generations of students.
The Take a Seat campaign allows alumni, attorneys, and friends of the College of Law to leave a lasting legacy by sponsoring a seat in the Moot Courtroom. Each gift extend opportunities that prepare students for successful careers in the legal profession while honoring those who have helped shape the STU Law community.
Giving STUesday is our annual day of giving that unites the entire Bobcat community in support of students and the mission of St. Thomas University. Together, alumni, faculty, staff, parents, students, and friends demonstrate the power of collective generosity to create life-changing opportunities.
