Hyram Montero is a nationally recognized trial lawyer, certified civil mediator, and Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy with more than forty years of courtroom experience. He has tried hundreds of jury and bench trials in state and federal courts throughout his distinguished career and is widely respected for his skill in complex, high-stakes litigation involving catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, aviation accidents, product liability, construction accidents, negligent security, traumatic brain injury, and commercial disputes.

In 1989, Mr. Montero founded Broward County’s first multilingual law firm. In 2013, he obtained one of Broward County’s largest jury verdicts—a $100 million verdict on behalf of a catastrophically injured pilot. He is board-certified as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Civil Circuit Mediator, having successfully mediated more than 250 cases.

Mr. Montero is admitted to practice in Florida and Illinois, numerous United States District Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. A frequent lecturer in the United States and internationally, he has taught trial advocacy and advanced litigation techniques to lawyers and judges throughout North America, Europe, and South America.

Beyond his legal accomplishments, Mr. Montero has devoted decades to public service through leadership of nonprofit organizations, mentoring young professionals, and advancing access to justice. His career reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence, integrity, civility, and the pursuit of justice—both inside and outside the courtroom.
